The 1915 Vanderbilt Cup Race was held in conjunction with the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco, California. The race was held on the San Francisco World's Fair 3.849-mile course on March 6, 1915 consisting of 77 laps for a total of 300.685 miles.

#8 Stutz driven by Harry Grant. After completing 53 laps, broke down due to water in gas tank and finished 17th.
#10 Mercer driven by Louis Nikrent. After 3 laps, broke down due to engine trouble and finished 31st.
#12 Simplex Zip driven by Louis Disbrow. Completed all 77 laps and finished 8th, averaging 60.591 mph.
#14 Californian driven by Sands Point native Caleb Bragg. After completing 24 laps, broke crankshaft and finished 25th.
#17 Maxwell driven by Eddie Rickenbacker. After completing 7 laps, develped engine trouble and finished 28th. Originally scheduled to drive a Peugeot.
#19 Duesenberg driven by Eddie O'Donnell. After completing 54 laps, wrecked racer and finished 16th.
#24 Parsons driven by Jim Parsons. After completing 32 laps, developed engine trouble and finished 23rd.
#32 Maxwell driven by William Carlson. Completed all 77 laps and finished 5th, averaging 63.010 mph.
#33 Hercules driven by Harold Hall. After completing 14 laps, developed engine trouble and finished 27th.
#34 Tomasini driven by T.A. Tomasini. Afer 29 laps, disqualified for poor driving and finished 24th.
