At the Mecum auctions in Kissimmee Florida two weeks ago, Tucker #1021 sold for an impressive $1.7 million

The purchaser turned out to be the Martin Auto Museum and Event Center in Glendale, Arizona.

The Martin Auto Museum decided to place 1021 display right out in front as the Tucker has quickly become one of their most prized possessions.

The car sits in front of all others on a turntable for guests to see every angle of the beautiful and historic Tucker.

Bryan Stanley, from Facebook's Tucker '48 Automobile page has provided an update on the new display with photos and video. Here, the turntable arrives in pieces.

The spot chosen in the museum. Did anyone spot the movie 'Tucker The Man and his Dream' playing on the monitors to the right?

Subflooring for the turntable

The turntable assembled and placed in the spot of honor as a perfect match for the rare, 1-of-4 black painted Tuckers.

#1021 as seen by visitors entering the hall. On Facebook, Bryan has posted a short video in action. The Tucker movie still on a loop with the display.

Congrats to the Martin Auto Museum and Event Center in Glendale, Arizona on their purchase and beautiful display!
