Update: Tucker will be a Featured Marque at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance
In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Tucker '48, Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance has announced that Tucker will be a featured marque at their 2018 program. This event could become the greatest gathering of Tuckers since the making of Francis Ford Coppola's 1988 film "Tucker: The Man and His Dream".
In anticipation of next year's concours and car shows, Tucker 1044 will be sent out for "repair and repainting" next week to a team of Ida Automotive and Preston Tucker LLC . I am really looking forward to working with Rob Ida, Sean and Mike Tucker on this exciting next phase for the Tucker '48 #1044.

Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2018 Classes and Features

Happy to see that your Tucker is getting new paint. I’m sure it will look spectacular when it’s done. Instead of putting the pictures and videos on this site before completion I would suggest doing so after an unveiling of the completed work at your garage. That would make for a very fun event don’t you think?
My father was a Tucker dealer. Had a showroom in Jersey City,N J . Took and sold over 200 cars in less than 2 months. When Tucker went under , we were left with 200 each, luggage set, seatcovers, Motorola radios and antennas. We also had a genuine Tucker engine for display that my father sold for use in a boat.
