“Talk with the Tuckers” sells out at the new Savoy Automobile Museum in Cartersville, Georgia

The first programming event "Catching Dreams with the Tuckers" at the new Savoy Automobile Museum was sold out today. Mike Tucker has forwarded these photos taken by his son Ty.

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I will not be able to attend. However, the good news is the program will be filmed for future showings.

Enjoy,

CATCHING DREAMS:  Retelling the Story of the Tucker Car & the Restoration of Tucker #1044

We are excited to announce our first programming event at Savoy!

As part of our Orphans exhibition, Savoy Museum is currently hosting Tucker #1044, the 44th of the original 50 Tucker 48s and the most awarded and historically accurate Tucker in existence. Join Sean and Mike Tucker, great-grandsons of Preston Tucker and Tucker historians and preservationists, as well as Mark Lieberman, noted Tucker historian and preservationist for a retelling of the story of the Tucker car, including a discussion of how accurate the Tucker movie is to Preston Tucker’s true story and just what it took to accurately restore Tucker #1044 to Preston’s vision.

To allow as many members as possible to attend this event, Sean, Mike, and Mark have graciously agreed to present their program twice. Please note, the presentation is the same for both programs and will take place in the Savoy Theatre.

Looks like it was a great event.
I’m sure Mark, Sean and Mike did an amazing presentation on Tucker History and the correct restoration of # 1044.
Thanks for the story and the Pictures, wish I was there.

Looking forward to seeing this when it’s available on film. Tucker history from the experts is always interesting.
