Vanderbilt Cup Races

Attention Vanderbilia collectors: This eight-minute film features over 90 pieces of memorabilia associated with the Vanderbilt Cup Races (1904-1960) and the Long Island Motor Parkway (1908-1938). The Vanderbilia are from the Howard Kroplick Collection currently in safe storage for future exhibits and displays.

The music used in the last 6 minutues of the film are from the original piano roll of the Broadway musical "The Vanderbilt Cup" which opened in 1906 starring 17-year old Elsie Janis.
