Norway’s Bergen Veteranvogn Klubb visits the Black Beast Garage

Following their visit to the Hershey Meet last week, four members of Norway's Bergen Veteranvogn Klubb visited the Waterfront of Roslyn on Monday for a tour of the Black Beast Garage.

Nyte,

Howard Kroplick

Bergen is located on the west coast of Norway and is its second largest city.

Bergen is known as "the heart of the fjords."

The car club was established in 1980.

The club's banner was presented to me by Carl Harbitz-Rasmussen. Carl is a pilot for Scandinavian Airlines (SAS).

Each member of the club was given a ride in the Alco Black Beast.

A great time was had by all!

Carl Harbitz-Rasmussen:

We are so thankful for the unexpected experience you gave us, and the generous amount of time you set aside to share your passion and knowledge with us, during our visit. We share much the same interests, both in the preservation of historic sites, in history in general, and of course in automotive history and historic vehicles. It was great to meet a true enthusiast! The ride in your Alco is by far one of the most unusual and exotic experiences in my more than 45 years of being a classic car enthusiast. Thanks from all of us, to you and your team!

Greetings,

Carl
