Hold the Date: Presentation: Memories of the Long Island Motor Parkway in Central Park (Bethpage)


The Central Park Historical Society and the Long Island Motor Parkway Preservation Society will be co-hosting a special program on the Long Island Motor Parkway, the 1908 Vanderbilt Cup Race and the role of Central Park (Bethpage) on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 beginning at 7:00 PM.  The meeting will be held at the Bethpage Public Library, 47 Powell Avenue, Bethpage, New York.
 
The program will feature background historical information by historians Howard Kroplick and Al Velocci and memories and tales of the Motor Parkway from several long-time Bethpage residents including Lenny Mulqueen and Paul Merin.
