The Long Island Motor Parkway Trail Update- July 10, 2009
For several years many Long Island groups have been trying to preserve the right-of way of the Long Island Motor Parkway and create a greenway and recreational trail called the "Long Island Motor Parkway Trail". These groups include; the Long Island Motor Parkway Panel led by Sam Berliner, Pedal Pushers Online, Parks and Trails New York and C.L.I.M.B. led by Michael Vitti. (3 comments)

The 1909 Alco-6 Racer will be featured at the 25th Annual Great Neck Plaza AutoFest and Street Festival to be held on Sunday, October 11 from 12 noon to 5:00 PM. The Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District has issued this press release concerning the event. (2 comments)

The 1911 Breese Racer

Film “The Last Race for Old 16 and Joe Tracy?” (1946)
In June 1946, the Veteran Motor Car Club of America sponsored its 50th Anniversary Jubilee featuring a parade of 75 vintage cars and nine races at the Mineola Fair Grounds on Long Island.
