The Featured Car at the 1981 Hershey AACA National Fall Meet- The Tucker ‘48 #1044
Each year the Hershey Region AACA selects one automobile to be featured at their annual National Fall Meet in October. In 1981, the Tucker '48 #1044, owned then by Les Schaeffer of Steelton, Pennsylvania, was selected as the 1981 "display car".

The Cyclops Eye of the Tucker ‘48 Automobiles
The most distinguishable feature of the Tucker '48 automobile was its Cyclops Eye. This third headlight moved with the steering wheel to light the path around corner.
