Video of the Week: This Rare 2-Seater Mustang Was Supposed to Be Destroyed
It was meant to be a "Corvette Killer," but Ford's accountants ordered it to be destroyed. In 1964, Ford commissioned Dearborn Steel Tubing to create the "Mustang III"—a hand-fabricated fiberglass two-seater with a shortened 90-inch wheelbase.
