This Wednesday Morning: A Presentation on the Motor Parkway on the Motor Parkway in Dix Hills!
In my final program of 2016, I will be presenting “My Hunt for the Vanderbilt Cup Races & the Long Island Motor Parkway" on the Dix Hills section of the Motor Parkway. The Union Turnpike/Long Island Motor Parkway Pedestrian Underpass
My favorite co-author Al Velocci found a 1929 blueprint showing plans for a pedestrian underpass under the Motor Parkway and Union Turnpike. It turns out that I had two construction plans of the proposed underpass in my survey files. (27 comments)
