Then & Now: New Hyde Park Turn

Then & Now: New Hyde Park Turn

One of the six exciting turns in the 1905 Vanderbilt Cup Race was the intersection of Lakeville Road and Jericho Turnpike. Here is a "Then & Now" of  the "New Hyde Park Turn".

Enjoy,

Thank you so much for these amazing, historical photos.  I truly enjoyed reading through them and sharing with my hometown, New Hyde Park.

Great article, I get the Herald Courier and have the article. I just drove my Model A past there this past Sunday.  I have never seen the photos of the Lakeville Rd. & Jericho Tpk . turn in the races.  Living in NHP all my life, and great to see NHP in the Vanderbilt News this day and age.  Artie.
