Society of Automotive Historians Authors’ Book Signing Event, Hershey, PA
The Society of Automotive Historians and Paul Lashbrook, Chairman of the Hospitality Committee and the Book Signing Event Committee, are pleased to announce an authors’ book signing, artists and publishers event on October 10th, 2014, from 12:30 P.M., until 3:00 P.M., in the Society of Automotive Historians Hospitality Tent which will be located in the Orange Field at OBB 17- 19. The venue will be the annual Fall Meet of the Antique Automobile Club of America at Hershey, Pennsylvania.
The featured authors will include the following:
Howard Kroplick is the author of The Vanderbilt Cup Races of Long Island, published by Acadia Publishing Company. Those races were some of the most significant events in motor sports history. Howard is also the co-author of The Long Island Motor Parkway which is a story of the forerunner of the modern highway system and a volume of more than 200 rare images. Howard is the owner of the Black Beast, the 1909 Alco race car that competed in the first Indianapolis 500 race one hundred years ago in 1911.
