Presentation: “Chrysler’s Chrysler: History, Restoration and Pebble Beach”, Floral Park

The saga of "Chrysler's Chrysler" from “garage find” to triumph at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will be highlighted on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at a meeting of the Floral Park Historical Society. The meeting will begin at 2:00 PM at the Floral Park Recreation Center on Stewart Street, Floral Park.

Howard Kroplick, Town Historian of North Hempstead, will present the history of this "one of one" 1937 Chrysler Imperial C-15 Town Car that was custom built by LeBaron for Mrs. Walter P. Chrysler. Rare photos documenting the 75-year history of this car will be shown including images and films taken at the LeBaron factory, the Long Island Automotive Museum and the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum.
