Lewis Strang
America's leading driver in 1908
Nationality: USA
Born: August 1884 Amsterdam, New York
Died: July 24, 1911 Blue River, Wisconsin 47 Years
Lewis Strang’s life is an old-fashioned story of earning the American dream. Educated in private schools, he was a direct descendent of Revolutionary War General Israel Putnam, best known for urging his troops at Bunker Hill, “Don’t fire until you see the whites of their eyes!”
