This unique two-seater is the oldest Mustang on the road today.
One of only 15 pre-production Mustangs (S-code VINs) built in 1963 at the Allen Park Pilot Plant.

Ford Performance Manager John Clor: Mustangs that Never Were
The keynote speaker for last Saturday's Mustangs on the Niagara banquet was John Clor, enthusiast communications manager for Ford Performance. A section of his presentation highlighted "Mustangs that Never Were". Several of these unique Mustangs are shown here using photos from my collection and the Internet.

Author and Ford Insider John Clor Salutes the 1963 Mustang III Concept Show Car in Niagara
The 1963 Mustang III Concept Show Car made its first appearance at a national Mustang show last weekend at Mustangs on the Niagara. One of the highlights of the weekend for me was meeting John Clor, enthusiast communications manager for Ford Performance and author of "Mustang 2015: The New Generation."
