Fans of HBO's The Gilded Age will easily recognize that Gladys Russell was based primarily on the true life story of Consuelo Vanderbilt Balsan (1877-1964). In part 2, we look at a video of Consuelo's time at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, UK as Dutchess of Marlborough.

Fans of HBO's "The Gilded Age" will easily recognize that Gladys Russell was based primarily on the true life story of Consuelo Vanderbilt Balsan(1877-1964). Hoping to learn more about Willie K's sister, I found my copy of Consuelo's 1952 autobiography "The Glitter and The Gold".
