Greg O’s Garage: The 1930 Motor Parkway license plate/season ticket holders Part 2
The Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum has forwarded lists of people who purchased Long Island Motor Parkway season tickets and license plates over an eight-year period (1913, 1914, 1915, 1916, 1917 1930, 1931 and 1932.) These "Who's Who" lists total over 700 prominent Long Islanders.

Among the most sought-after pieces of Vanderbilia are the porcelain Motor Parkway license plates. From 1912 to 1937, an estimated 7,400 Long Island Motor Parkway license plates were manufactured including 6,700 regular plates and 700 golf club plates.

A large collection of Long Island Motor Parkway License Plates rediscovered
A collection of seven Motor Parkway license plates was recently rediscovered last month on Long Island. This is believed to be one of the largest number of Motor Parkway license plates found in one collection in over 50 years.

Presentation: The History of New York Registration, Licensing and License Plates
Another fun meeting of the Long Island Motor Parkway Preservation Society was held on April 28, 2016. The meeting took take place at the auditorium at Bethpage Public Library. Over 60 Motor Parkway fans participated in the meeting.

Willie K’s Cars #7: 1928 Lincoln Model L Town Car Built for his Wife Rosamund & A Music Video
When the 1937 Chrysler's Chrysler returned to the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum last Sunday, it was the second town car on the premises. In 1928 William K. Vanderbilt, Jr. commissioned a Lincoln Model L town car for his wife Rosamund.
