Helck Family Collection: The 1942 Bill of Sale From Joseph B. Sessions for Old 16
Another gem of the Helck Family Collection treasure is the original January 30, 1942 bill of sale transferring the 1906 Old 16 Locomobile from the estate of Joseph B. Sessions to Peter Helck .

Helck Family Collection: Old 16 at the Opening of the Bridgehampton Race Circuit in 1957
For the inaugural races at the Bridgehampton Race Circuit in 1957, Old 16 participated in the Vintage Exhibition Run. Prior to this appearance, Old 16, the winner of the 1908 Vanderbilt Cup Race, stopped off at the Long Island Automotive Museum in Southampton.

Helck Family Collection: “The Most Thrilling Race I Have Ever Seen” by Barrett H. Clark, Jr.
In the November 1947 issue of Speed Age influential editor and literary manager Barrett H. Clark, Jr. described "the most thrilling race I have ever seen." Surprisingly, the race was last race of the 1946 VMCCA Jubilee Anniversary held at the Mineola Fair Grounds in Garden City.
