The Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum has forwarded lists of people who purchased Long Island Motor Parkway season tickets and license plates over an eight-year period (1913, 1914, 1915, 1916, 1917 1930, 1931 and 1932.) These " Who's Who" lists total over 700 prominent Long Islanders.

Earth Day Weekend was celebrated with the clean-up of the Mackay Estate Gate Lodge
In celebration of 2022 Earth Day Weekend, a group of members of the Roslyn Landmark Society, Long Island Motor Parkway Preservation Society and residents of East Hills and Roslyn cleaned up debris and planted pansies around the Mackay Estate Gate Lodge in East Hills.

Harbor Hill- The Roslyn Country Home of a 1906 Vanderbilt Cup Race Spectator- Clarence Mackay
As a friend of William k. Vanderbilt, Jr. and a member of high society, Clarence Mackay had a premium seat to watch the 1906 Vanderbilt Cup Race. With the assistance of master mapper Frank Femenias, the Roslyn (now East Hills) location of Mackay's long demolished Harbor Hill estate is explored below.
