Video of the Week: Caravan of Stars (Ford Custom Car Caravan) - 1964
During the early 1960s, Ford in the USA had a traveling show called "Caravan of Stars" that went to trade fairs and similar events. This item shows the 1964 line up, which includes the 1950 Lincoln 'bubble-top' limousine used by three presidents, an endurance winning Comet and a Mercury Marauder that won the Pike's Peak challenge. Highlights from the 2022 Gold Coast Cruisers Waterfront Car Show in Glen Cove
The Gold Coast Cruisers Waterfront Car Show was again a crowd pleaser with hundreds of diverse collectible automobiles at its beautiful Morgan Park location. The 1962 Holman Moody Challenger III and 1963 Mustang III Concept Show Car were reunited again for the 2022 version of the Ford Custom Car Caravan.

"The world's oldest known road-registered Mustang is also one of the most unusual: a short-wheelbase, triple-carburetor, custom-designed hot-rod prototype that survives today largely because it was stolen more than 50 years ago."
