The Amazing North Hempstead Clean-Up Day of the Motor Parkway in East Williston
As part of the Town of North Hempstead Earth Day Celebration, over 40 people cleaned the historic Motor Parkway section in East Williston between Roslyn Road and the Oyster Bay LIRR tracks.

Long Island Motor Parkway Bridge Series: #25 Wheatley Hills “Golfway” Bridge in East Williston
A total of 65 bridges were built by the Motor Parkway from 1908 to 1931 including; parkway bridges (Motor Parkway was on top of the bridge over roads and railroad tracks), highway bridges (Motor Parkway went under the bridge), farmway bridges (Motor Parkway connected adjoining farmland) and one golfway bridge.
