My favorite co-author Al Velocci and I met in 2003 researching the Motor Parkway and Vanderbilt Cup Races at the Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport. With the permission of the museum, we were able to discover thousands of documents & photos over the years including the last known surviving poster for the 1904 Race.
