    From a 13 year old in 1969 to today, Tom Seaver and the NY Mets would always be special to me. Hope, being the underdog, perseverance epitomized the NY Mets and their fans in those early years. I feel it only fitting that Kleiner's Korner devote this brief post to Tom Seaver, may he rest in peace. The races had a far-reaching impact on the development of American automobiles and parkways.
