Then & Now: Chrysler’s Chrysler


In restoring the 1937 Chrysler Imperial C-15 LeBaron Town Car, we were fortunate to have discovered original factory photos. Here are the "Then" 1937 photos in comparison with "Now" 2014 images.

Just amazing. A great idea to recreate the same camera angles and shots of this stunning restoration. Not to nitpick, but curious as to why the side view mirrors are at a different height and use slightly different stalks than original ones? More effective, perhaps? Hope to see the car soon at a Concours. Saw it at Greenwich prior to restoration.

I also noticed the mirrors. They seem to be missing in the “now” front view or I just can’t pick them out.

Side mirrors have been placed back on the automobile after the Pebble Beach Concours.
