Promotion for the Tucker '48 was intense in 1948 with Preston Tucker advertising everywhere he could. From a media blitz in every magazine and newspaper, to small promotional items such as this small pocket cigarette lighter, recently acquired from Gerry Lettieri's automobiliaauction.com website.

Promotional Lighter
Recently acquired from Gerry Lettieri's automobiliaauction.com website, this tiny, 2" fluid cigarette lighter was used to promote Philadelphia Tucker Co. Distributors in 1948.
The tiny print on the lighter reads;
"America has a date-
