How does Artificial Intelligence view the Vanderbilt Cup Races?
Since the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) a couple of years ago, people have been plugging in just about everything into the various A.I. software platforms. Many praise A.I. for its ability to help humans in problem solving, but Hollywood has been fictionally warning us for years about its potential dangers. Whether we believe A.I. will manifest itself as Data the android from Star Trek, or the Terminator coming back to defeat Skynet, A.I. for now is still a curiosity and has been producing some very interesting thoughts and images in various subjects.
Cristofer Damianos Jr. from the Damianos Realty Group, along with his Uncle Pelops Damianos, graciously hosted a Motor Parkway Preservation meeting this past year in June at their wonderfully themed Motor Parkway/Vanderbilt Cup Race office building. Cris reached out to me and mentioned he'd been playing around with some A.I. software. He submitted various Vanderbilt Cup race images and asked A.I. how it would envision the Vanderbilt Cup Races. The images A.I. produced are completely fictional down to the fake race cars and only used the original images a type of template to produce its own fictional images of cars and photos of the race.
"Hey Greg!
This is Cris Damianos from 150 Motor Parkway. I decided to take a break from architecture and play around with some AI generated Vanderbilt Cup Images. I put in a couple of your website images for reference and this is what the software kicked out. Pretty cool!"
Yes, they are pretty cool! The following is how artificial intelligence views the Vanderbilt Cup races. Thanks Cris!!
If anyone else has played around with A.I., or plans to, post your results in the comments!

Interesting content and great photos.
Better than most AI I’ve seen Most of it is pretty bad JeRita
Interesting stuff… the cars seem too low, Some of the tires too fat. Some of the cars are lacking a mecanician. And the helmets?????? AI can be fooled I believe.
Headlights???
Can’t wait for the movies, all different angle’s, all the old drivers, winners, pomp and circumstance. Please submit all of everybody’s historical records, videos and show us these darn races “we” never got to see. This is going to be great!
P.S. I’m not excited at all.
Although cool images indeed, they will be misleading worldwide through the internet. There’s simpler ways to find the real truth
Greg, A.I. I agree with those that said A.I. did not do a good job with the Vanderbilt Cup Races. Some of the autos are single seaters, at least one two seater has a driver only and what’s with those autos with headlights ? Wait, I remember, those race cars were practicing for the 1907 Vanderbilt Cup Race which was going to be run at night.
Al, those old headlights at the time produced inadequate visibility on the dark parkway. I read the racers encountered a lot of cricket noise while staging at the 1909 start line
