Over 65 members of the Long Island Motor Parkway Preservation Society had a wonderful evening last Thursday discussing Motor Parkway projects and listening to author and historian Paul Mateyunas' presentation The Grand Estates of the Gold Coast.

Paul's review of the impact of the Motor Parkway on Long Island and the Long Island Vanderbilt estates were fascinating.

The evening ended with a book signing of Paul's Arcadia book Long Island's Gold Coast.
