Tom Walsh of the LI-NY Oldsmobile Club reports on this upcoming event for this Monday.

Hello everybody,

The Classic Car Tribute Cruise to NUMC has been rescheduled to Monday, May 4th, 5:00.  We are still meeting at 1400 Old Country Road, Westbury 11590.  On the corner of Old Country Road and Carman Avenue. Just west of Wantagh Pkwy.   This is the lot where the last Cruise for a Cure show took place (not Sears).  We will stage at 4:30 pm.  Try to line up somewhat organized, facing out, ready to roll.  If clubs want to stick together, try to roll in together.  Practice social distancing, wear masks, and stay in your car. We will only be there a for a few minutes. 

The plan is the same. We will start rolling south on Carman Avenue about 4:50 pm.  We’ll make a left on Intern Drive into the north end of the hospital campus.  We’ll do a slow roll around the back of the hospital to allow everybody to catch up. As we approach the main hospital building, beep, wave, show signs and banners. Go completely around the hospital and exit onto Carman Avenue where we came in.  

Remember, this is a chance for the car club community to look good.  And there WILL be press coverage there.  Please be on your best behavior.  Practice social distancing at all times.  Be courteous.  And no burnouts please.
