Chrysler’s Chrysler Chronicle XIV: Heading to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance
Since February 2013, automotive historian Walt Gosden has been documenting the restoration of the 1937 Chrysler Imperial C-15 LeBaron Town Car built for Walter P. Chrysler as a gift for his wife Della.
In the final installment of Chrysler's Chrysler Chronicle, Walt documents the loading of this historic automobile on August 9, 2014 on a trailer heading west to the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
Thanks Walt for this wonderful series!
Enjoy,
Howard Kroplick

The Happy owner Howard Kroplick awaits the loading of his car onto the trailer to head to Pebble Beach.
When the car was first picked up in Centerport, NY at the Vanderbilt Museum, this same quartet of were there for that moment. Here they are left to right :Jim Pearsall, Walt Gosden, Howard Kroplick, and Norman Arbour, with the car fully restored.
Note how the reflection of the sunlight off the highly polished wood work is reflected in the headliner.

All that I can say is INCREDIBLE, but still have to see it live.
Do you have any photos of Walter and Della ?
