Be Part of History When Chrysler’s Chrysler Returns to Its Kings Point Home on Sunday, May 17, 2015

Regimental Activities NAFI proudly announces the very first "Auto Show at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy" on Sunday May 17, 2015 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  The car show will mark the first time in over 55 years that Walter and Della Chrysler's Chrysler returns to its original Kings Point home.

This car show is being coordinated by 80 midshipmen who have formed their own automobile club. The Long Island Sound Region of the Classic Car Club of America has announced they will be fully participating.

You can be part of this historic day while supporting Long Island's federal service academy by registering your vintage car to join the fun. The car show will be limited to 150 cars.

Registration will be $20 per car with free admission for the public, staff and midshipmen and will close at Noon on May 13, 2015.

Special tours and activities will be part of this historic day. More information and registration material will be posted on VanderbiltCupRaces.com later next week.

Any questions, please email Auto Club President Paul Styx at [email protected] .

Enjoy,

Howard Kroplick

15 midshipmen, faculty and staff of the US. Merchant Marine Academy paid a visit today to the Black Beast Garage in Roslyn. Plans for the May 17, 2015 car show were discussed and finalized.
