The Huntington Library Kaiser-Darrin Exhibit by Dr. Meredith Jaffe
The Huntington Public Library, located at 338 Main St in Huntington, NY, is currently spotlighting the Kaiser Darrin, a rare 1954 American sports car celebrated as America's first fiberglass production car.
The iconic Kaiser Darrin is famous for its unique "sweetheart" grille and innovative pocket doors that slide directly into the front fenders.
Library Display Details
- The Exhibit: Local collector Meredith Jaffe is presenting a display case dedicated to models of the 1954 Kaiser Darrin and related vintage car ephemera.
- Location: You can view the exhibit in the display cases located inside the Main Library building.
- Visitor Access: The library is located in the heart of Huntington Village and is free to visit.
