Film “Treasures of the Vanderbilt Cup Races”
Attention Vanderbilia collectors: This eight-minute film features over 90 pieces of memorabilia associated with the Vanderbilt Cup Races (1904-1960) and the Long Island Motor Parkway (1908-1938). The Vanderbilia are from the Howard Kroplick Collection currently in safe storage for future exhibits and displays.

Ray Harroun in the Vanderbilt Cup Races
Tom, yes, Ray Harroun, winner of the first Indy 500 Race, drove a Marmon in the 1910 Vanderbilt Cup Race and the 1909 Wheatley Sweepstakes which ran concurrently with the Vanderbilt Cup Race.
