Chrysler’s Chrysler Imperial Speedster
The 1937 Chrysler's Chrysler is not the only one-of-a-kind automobile built for Walter P. Chrysler. This 1932 Chrysler Imperial Speedster was built for the boss on the short 135-inch wheelbase instead of the 146-inch platform. (2 comments)

Peter Prunty-The One Man PA System for the Vanderbilt Cup Races
A constant throughout the Long Island days of the races associated with the Vanderbilt Cup Races was track announcer Peter Prunty. A slender man, Prunty wielded a megaphone nearly three feet long and shouted updates to the spectators in the grandstands. (4 comments)

Long Island Motor Parkway Bridge Series: #25 Wheatley Hills “Golfway” Bridge in East Williston
A total of 65 bridges were built by the Motor Parkway from 1908 to 1931 including; parkway bridges (Motor Parkway was on top of the bridge over roads and railroad tracks), highway bridges (Motor Parkway went under the bridge), farmway bridges (Motor Parkway connected adjoining farmland) and one golfway bridge.
