The Long Island Super Sport Team (LISST) is a family orientated club for Chevrolet auto enthusiasts who are owners of Seventh generation Impala SS (1994–1996) and the new 2014 Chevy SS LT & LS powered rear wheel drive automobiles. LISST is the regional affiliate of the Impala SS Clubs of America (ISSCA), the national Impala Club. LISST members are predominantly from Long Island, the 5 boroughs of NYC & Westchester. The six Vanderbilt Cup Races held on Long Island from 1904 to 1910 were the greatest sporting events of their day, and the first international automobile road races held in the United States. The races had a far-reaching impact on the development of American automobiles and parkways.
