1. Great job done with the expanded website !!!!! I hope it continues for many years to come and enjoyed by all !!!!!
2. In regards to the Presidents Meeting for all the car clubs—— It brought back so many nice memories of yesteryear for me when I was President of the Model A Ford Club of Long Island in 1983 and 1984 as we use to go to Les Cuttings house in Huntington and in his living room we all use to do the calendar of events for the upcoming year. This was done to avoid conflicts in the various meets, and many thanks to all in the VCCR ( Vanderbilt Cup Car Region ).

“Thank you very much for the opportunity to be part of the history and preservation of the Vanderbilt Cup Races. As a second generation race driver and a student of auto racing history in particular sprint cars, midgets, champ dirt cars and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, my interest in the early American road racing history and auto racing history in general plays right in with the Vanderbilt Cup Races. Many great early automobile company’s and great race drivers of the era competed in these events. My interest in the Vanderbilt races stems from my interest in road racing and the two book Peter Helck wrote about the early road racing. These books are at my local library and I have checked them out often over the years and looks like I may be doing it again. I enjoyed thoroughly your site and thanks to my facebook friend I learned of your site. He recommended it. He and I are members of The Vintage Racer facebook site. I am looking forward to the newsletters and other information about this great American race. Yours for the sport and history. Billy
