Vanderbilt Cup Races

The Model A Ford Club of Long Island has been assisting the Long Island Motor Parkway Preservation Society in clearing and protecting remnants of the Parkway.

 In June 2012, with the gracious permission of the Old Bethpage Village Restoration,  members of the club were able to drive over the Old Bethpage Motor Parkway bridge built in 1910. This is a 3-minute video of the event recorded by Marc Hillman.

If you are a member of the Long Island Motor Parkway Preservation Society or own a  pre-1939 automobile, you will have an opportunity to drive your car over the bridge next Saturday at another Vintage Car Rally.
