The fourth Vanderbilia postcard series features Pettit Trianon in Lake Ronkonkoma, located at the eastern terminus of the Long Island Motor Parkway.
The Petit Trianon was built in 1911 as a first-class dining facility and half-way stop for travelers on the Motor Parkway. The postcards were sold at the Petit Trianon to promote the facility.
