Film and Photo Opportunities: Is Your Car A Star?

Three opportunities to make your car a star:

Film Opportunity: Cars (1950s to 1979)

We are working on a new project at Grant Wilfley Casting, and we are in search of cars from the 1950's-1979. If you own this type of car and are interested in working on this film, please email me back with the following information:

1. Model / Make / Color/ Year of your car or cars.

2. Is your car in working condition?

3. What rate have you been paid past films with this car?

4. What is your SAG/NONSAG status?

If you can, please include a picture in your email. We do not have much information on the project right now, but it is set to film later this year.

Thank you,

Christina Rosada

Film Opportunity: Cars (1961-1968)

I'm a casting director based in NYC who is currently working on a new David Chase (Executive Producer of The Sopranos) feature film set in the 60's. We are looking for a number of car owners that would be interested in having their automobiles featured in the film for pay as well as a SAG waiver. Primarily we are in search of vehicles from 1961-1968. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you may be able to connect me to some of your members who own vintage cars from the 1960's. If possible could you post to your member message boards or forward my email along to people who may be interested?

Shooting will be throughout the month of February in the NYC, Jersey and Upstate NY area. People interested would be paid a day rate for their car to be in the film, given a Screen Actor's Guild waiver and if they want to be used as a background actor, paid for that as well as well as have meals provided the day of shooting. If any of your members are interested, you can give them my email address: [email protected] as well as my cell number 917-685-9743 and they can contact me directly. If possible forwarding me a photo of the car they are interested in using would be fantastic as well. Thank you so much for your time and I look forward to hearing from you!

cheers!

Photo Opportunity: Cadillac (1911 or 1912)

I have been assigned to do the poster art for the Dayton (Ohio) Concours this year. The event is September 18-19, 2011. I am in need of a 1911 or 1912 Cadillac to photograph and I wondered if you might know someone who has one in the Northeast. My friend John Jones in Prospect CT has a collection of Brass Era cars and I used his 1905 Cadillac in a painting a few years ago (see link below). I will be talking with him for some leads.

Thanks!

Best wishes,

Chris Osborne
