Tucker Dealership Banner
A beautiful reproduction of a Tucker dealership banner is now hanging in the "Black Beast garage."
Let's Go Mets!
Roz and I were proud to represent all Met fans in this Sunday's New York Post article.
Presentations: "My Hunt for the Vanderbilt Cup Races and the Long Island Motor Parkway"
Over 90 people attended last Sunday's presentation sponsored by the Nassau County Historical Society. A total of $350 was raised for Child Abuse Prevention Services.
Another April presentation has been added to the calendar. Sponsored by the Great Neck Historical Society, I will be presenting "My Hunt for the Vanderbilt Cup Races & the Long Island Motor Parkway" at Great Neck House, 14 Arrandale Avenue, Great Neck, NY at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Lake Success will be featured in the presentation.
Comments
Next year when I go out to the Peconic Swap Meet on L.I., I’ll keep an eye open for memorabilia for both the Black Beast and and the Tucker. That’s where I found your birthday book. Last Sunday in February. You might like this show, a lot of old nostalgia.
