The “Black Beast” at the 2009 Hallockville Car Show

The weatherman says the sun will come out today and the Alco-6 "Black Beast" will roar at the historic Hallockville Museum Farm (6038 Sound River, Riverhead). The Peconic Bay Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America will hold its 11th annual meet from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please stop by and say hello.

October 27, 2009 Update: It was a wonderful day at the Hallockville Museum Farm...over 2,000 people came to over 150 vintage cars. Here are some highlight photos:

I cannot thank you enough for bringing the Alco to the Hallockville Show. The crowd was inspired everytime you allowed the Black Beast to breathe fire. You have made a lasting impression on everyone there through your generosity of sharing the most valuable asset in your collection.

Give my best to John. He is a very dedicated person.

Thank you again,

Bob
