The Complete 44-Mile LIMP Tour: Maps, Images and Videos

To assist those LIMP fans who wish to walk sections of the 44-mile Long Island Motor Parkway, I have highlighted the right-of-way using a 1940 map. In the final of the three-part series, click here for a PDF of the Suffolk County Map.

Long Island Motor Parkway highlights in Suffolk County include:

-the abutments to a farmway bridge at Maxess Road in Melville (see above image)

-sections of the road remnants from Maxess Road to Ruland Road

-the last 13-miles of the Motor Parkway still active as Route 67 starting at Half-Hollows Road in Dix Hills

-the Lake Ronkonkoma Lodge (now a private home)

- the site of Petite Trianon Inn at Lake Ronkonkoma
