Queens Greenway Clean-Way Day To Be Held on Saturday, October 20, 2012
The Father John J. Murray Knights of Columbus Council at American Martyrs Church and the NYC Partnership for Parks have announced another "Queens Greenway Clean-way Day" on the former Long Island Motor Parkway for Saturday, October 20, 2012.
If you enjoy walking, jogging, biking, hopping, skipping, or jumping along the wonderful Greenway built on the original Long Island Motor Parkway in Queens, please meet at 9:00 AM at the these five locations:
1. Dead End at bottom of 209th St
2. Bell Boulevard overpass
3. Springfield Boulevard overpass (Original Motor Parkway Bridge)
4. 220th Street entrance between Kingsbury and 77th Avenue
5. Kingsbury Avenue & Grand Central Parkway service road (end of Alley Pond Apartments)
