The Mayor and the “Beast”
Among the many people who gave a thumbs-up in the "Black Beast" at last Sunday's Autofest and Street Festival was Jean Celendar, Mayor of Great Neck Plaza. Mayor Celendar sent me the following email:
Hi Howard – What a fabulous day it was Sunday, and a terrific Street Fair. It was a pleasure meeting you and to see that amazing car. What a hoot! I love the 3-minute video and it captures the feeling of the day so well. Everyone enjoyed seeing the Alco Racer, or “Black Beast” and I am so happy Jay was able to hook up with you and get you at our event. I hope you will be back again next year, as it was a big hit. I look forward to seeing you again.
