A Special Hamptons Evening:“A Tribute to Henry Austin Clark, Jr & the Long Island Automotive Museum”
Rain or Shine: Please join Walter McCarthy and me for a special evening paying tribute to Henry Austin Clark, Jr. and his memorable Long Island Automotive Museum in Southampton. We will discuss the life and times of this Long Island automobile icon using personal experiences, photos, memorabilia and films.The presentation is being held in conjunction with the 22nd Annual Bridgehampton Road Rally weekend.
The meeting will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 beginning at 7:00 pm at the auditorium at Bridehampton Museum Archives building, 2639-A Montauk Highway. The Archives building is on the south side of the road, second building on the right after you pass the monument at the intersection of Montauk Highway, Ocean Road and Bridgehampton/sag Harbor Turnpike.
5:30 pm Buffet dinner with Howard Kroplick & special guests (by reservation-tickets $15)
7:00 pm Howard Kroplick and Walt McCarthy’s presentation on Henry Austin Clark’s famous Long Island Auto Museum

I will try to be there,as i was the first employee of the museum,and also raced the mercer at bridgehampton,with austie,i think in 1951.Me and Noriss Hopping brought most of the cars to the museum,from around the hamptons.
